What is functional fitness, really?

Functional fitness trains the movements you already own: squatting, hinging, pressing, pulling, carrying, running. It just adds load and intensity so they transfer to real life.
The variety is the point. No two sessions look the same, so no single quality gets neglected. You get strong, conditioned and durable instead of good at one machine.
Beginners are welcome. Every WOD scales. The stimulus stays the same whether you lift the prescribed weight or half of it.
